About Me

My hometown is Xinyang (simplified Chinese: 信阳; pinyin: Xìnyáng), which is a prefecture-level city in southeastern Henan(河南) province. It is famous for the Xin Yang Mao Jian tea (信阳毛尖) , which is designated as a China Famous Tea.

Note: The following pictures are taken by myself in winter using a cellphone, so they are not very clear and the landscape is not very beautiful.

The following picture is a tea field owned by my family.

The following is an overview of the place where I was born. But my home is not in this photo.  :)

When finished my undergraduate study , I was selected to be a 5 year phd student in the Lab of Cryptography & Information Security at the Compute Science & Engineering Department in Shanghai Jiao Tong University. My supervisor is Dr. Xuejia Lai. From September of 2009, I start to study in University of Waterloo under the supervision of Professor Guang Gong.

I am currently interested in all topics about discrete mathematics, especially in algebraic structure, number theory and combinatorics. In the area of cryptography,I am interested in the analysis of cryptography hash functions, block ciphers.
